Frederik van Pallandt has over 20 years of investment experience in emerging markets. He joined parent company Cardano Development in January 2022 and the SIV senior management team in February 2022 as Chief Investment Officer. In this role, he is responsible for the capital raising and financing activities of SIV and its subsidiaries. Prior to this, Frederik was with FMO, the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank. During his 15 years at FMO, he held various investment and managerial positions across emerging market regions (Africa, Asia, Latin America), most recently as the Director of the Energy Investment department. Prior to FMO, Frederik was with the IFC, Lehman Brothers and Rabobank. Frederik holds an MScs in Economics and Philosophy from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
